Two Best Friends Building Products and Helping Teams Grow.

Random Shapes was founded by two best friends, Jamie Spittal and Matthew Hall. They met each other in High School and became friends in Math class programming our TI-83 calculators - not doing anything productive for school but instead building multiplayer games that used the Calculator link cable.

Since then we've spent a huge part of our professional career working together. From building Tree Puncher together as our first website to our very first Single Page Applications and RESTful APIs. In that time we've also built & managed development teams, mastered Kubernetes, and published a few Open Source packages.

When we were building CloseFox we had to decide who was going to build the API and who was going to build the Single Page Application. We flipped a coin and Matthew ended up with the API and Jamie ended up with the Single Page Application - we've stuck with those as our specialties to this day.
